From the Veterans For Peace Chapter 160

Spokane, Washington (August 30, 2019) — Veterans For Peace Chapter 160 President Chuck Searcy provides an update on Project RENEW. In this video, filmed at the Veterans For Peace 2019 National Convention in Spokane, Washington, describes the major success and strides in making Vietnam safe from the devices of death dropped on the country by the United States.

Project RENEW was established in 2001 as a joint effort between the government of Quang Tri Province and interested INGOs to “restore the environment and neutralize the effects of the war” – with the main focus on unexploded ordinance.
