Trieu Phong, Quang Tri (April 15, 2024): In honor of Vietnam’s Day of Persons with Disabilities on April 18th, Project RENEW, in collaboration with local Disabled Persons Chapters, has launched a week-long series of musical performances and contests.

This engaging initiative has drawn the participation of over 300 individuals with disabilities from Vinh Linh, Trieu Phong, and Quang Tri Town. The events feature group competitions, where participants showcase their talents in singing and dancing, while also testing their knowledge through disability law and pro-disabled policy quizzes.

This innovative approach not only provides a fun and interactive platform for participants but also serves an educational purpose. By incorporating quizzes on disability rights, the events empower individuals with disabilities by increasing their awareness of relevant laws and policies.

Project RENEW commends the enthusiastic participation of the community and remains committed to fostering a more inclusive and empowered future for all. We thank the Irish Embassy in Vietnam for funding our work to support people with disabilities.
