Project RENEW, with broad support from the communities where we work, and in cooperation with other mine action organizations, has significantly contributed to reducing accidents and casualties down to zero during the past three years, by clearing explosive ordnance and destroying thousands of bombs and other munitions that threaten people’s lives, bringing hope for a better future to people of Quang Tri Province.

RENEW staff members are proud of the contribution we have made and we will continue to work at it until the job is done.

Our goal is to make Quang Tri safe from Explosive Ordnance for future generations and to improve the livelihoods of victims and disabled families.

We can do it with the continued financial and technical support of our donors – many of you – and our international partners, other foundations, individuals. We can do it with continued cooperation and assistance from the provincial government in Quang Tri, the central government, the military and, most importantly, the local people we serve.

We are committed. We hope you are, too.

The Project RENEW team

Project RENEW was established in 2001 as a joint effort between the government of Quang Tri Province and interested INGOs to “restore the environment and neutralize the effects of the war”.
