Safe Removal of 81mm Mortar Round from Construction Site in Dong Ha

News

During construction of his new home in Dong Ha, Mr. Nguyen Viet Tri was shocked when workers uncovered a wartime 81mm mortar round beneath the foundation. Thanks to the swift response of NPA/RENEW’s EOD team, the explosive was safely removed — allowing construction to continue and the community to remain safe.
