A Gift of Hope
Le Hung Thinh, a 17-year-old boy from Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, has been battling Agent Orange-related disabilities since childhood. Despite the challenges he faces, Thinh’s spirit remains unbroken, and his dream of becoming a graphic designer continues to inspire those around him.
Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Alan Brown, a Board member of Loose Cannons Inc., and an anonymous donor, Thinh recently received a brand-new computer and desk set. This incredible gift has opened up a world of possibilities for the young man, providing him with the tools he needs to pursue his passion.
A Family’s Resilience
Thinh’s family has been deeply affected by Agent Orange. His father, Le Xuan Binh, suffers from severe disabilities due to his grandfather’s exposure to the toxic chemical. Thinh’s mother, the only breadwinner in the family, works tirelessly to provide for them.
Despite the hardships they face, Thinh’s family remains united and supportive. His older brother, Le Xuan Dat, a college student studying physics, has been a constant source of encouragement. Dat also receives a monthly scholarship provided by Veterans For Peace, which further supports his education.
Overcoming Challenges
Thinh’s journey has been filled with obstacles. His disabilities have made it difficult for him to walk, but he has persevered through his studies, completing the eleventh grade. Thinh can now explore graphic design software and develop his skills with the new computer.
A Bright Future
Thinh’s dream of becoming a graphic designer reflects his resilience and determination. With the support of his family, friends, and generous donors who have believed in him, Thinh is well on his way to achieving his goals.
A Heartfelt Thank You
On behalf of the Le Hung Thinh family, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Alan Brown and the anonymous donor for their generosity. Their donation has allowed Thinh to pursue his dreams and build a brighter future.
