Nguyen Manh HUNG
Information Management Officer

Nguyen Manh Hung serves as an information management officer for the NPA/RENEW explosive ordnance clearance program in Quang Tri Province. He has joined Project RENEW since 2010. Initially, Hung commenced his career as a non-technical survey (NTS) team member, and in 2015, he transitioned to his current role as an information officer. His primary responsibilities involve establishing and analyzing minefield mapping data, as well as addressing internal network information issues.

Throughout his tenure, Hung has gained extensive experience and continues to exhibit confidence and passion for his work. He remains willing to share his knowledge and is eager to acquire new skills to enhance the quality of his work. Hung has attended numerous capacity-building courses, including the Vietnam TIA certificate from NPA, the EOD Level 1 Vietnam certificate from NPA, the Vietnam VIDAGIS ArcGIS certificate, the NIIT Ha Noi Access 2010 certificate, Training on IMSMA Field Reporting Forms, IMSMA GIS Data Tools Update Training, the Mine Action Reporting and Analyzing Tool – MINT – DBU Quang Tri, ESRI Vietnam, Creating and Editing Data with ArcGIS Pro Certificate, ArcGIS Online Reporting System & Related Tools, Applying the Arcade Language in the ArcGIS Platform – DBU Quang Tri, the 2022 IMSMA Administrator Certificate, and the 2022 Training Course on Data Retrieval of National Standard IMSMA Database and Updates of IM Tools.

Hung feels fortunate and proud to contribute to humanitarian mine action work. He enjoys listening to music, exploring, and repairing electronic devices. His favorite sports are cycling, running, and bodybuilding.
