For the past years, Project RENEW has provided assistance in different ways to the Bind Associations in Vinh Linh, Huong Hoa, Dakrong, Trieu Phong, Hai Lang, Quang Tri Town and Dong Ha, from providing capital, organizing technical training, building new workshops to upgrading production facilities.

This kind of livelihood support has brought practical and significant results to the blind and other persons with disabilities in Quang Tri Province. Thanks to the funding of Irish Aid and Friends of Project RENEW, the blind and other persons with disabilities who have attended the vocational training now can live independently with products made by their own hands.

Project RENEW was established in 2001 as a joint effort between the government of Quang Tri Province and interested INGOs to “restore the environment and neutralize the effects of the war”.
