We are pleased to present to all our friends, supporters, and colleagues the most updated video depicting Project RENEW’s important work to address war legacy issues in Quang Tri Province.

Established in 2001 as a joint effort between the government of Quang Tri Province and interested INGOs dedicated to “restoring the environment and neutralizing the effects of the war,” Project RENEW develops and implements a coordinated program of action that integrates Explosive Ordnance Survey and Clearance, Explosive Ordnance Risk Education, and Victim Assistance. With broad support from the communities where we work and in cooperation with other mine action organizations, and thanks to the funding provided by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Defense, UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Irish Aid, and other foundations and individuals, Project RENEW has made real progress in clearing explosive ordnance, and offering hope for a better future to the people of Quang Tri. Together with other mine action organizations, we feel proud of the fact that during the past three years, there has not been a single Explosive Ordnance accident in Quang Tri Province.

It is our hope that this short movie will provide you a chance to better understand Project RENEW’s ongoing efforts toward making Quang Tri Province safe from the impact of explosive ordnance while improving the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in the region.

We would like to express our appreciation to Irish Aid / Irish Embassy in Vietnam and M21 for sponsoring the making of this movie.

Please enjoy.
