Dong Ha, Quang Tri (13 June 2023) — Hien Xuan Ngo, RENEW’s Communications & Development Manager will fly to America this week to join Ron Carver, Waging Peace in Vietnam exhibit curator, Lilo Gonzalez, the singer/songwriter, and Ron Haeberle, the former U.S. Army photographer who took the infamous My Lai Massacre photos to meet with the Vietnamese communities in Virginia and Maryland.

The two events are to share progress made after 22 years of Project RENEW and to explain the huge tasks that need to be done for Vietnam safe from unexploded bombs and landmines. Co-organizers of these two events are Waging Peace in Vietnam Education Fund and Friends of Project RENEW.
