RENEW’s 180 national employees, including newly recruited ones, attended an annual staff orientation meeting held in coordination with Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) Vietnam.

In this two-day orientation, the staff will be briefed on Project RENEW’s mine action model and progress achieved in partnership with NPA. In addition, the staff will be shared with RENEW/NPA’s policies in terms of employment, personnel management, information management and other cross-cutting issues such as environment management, gender equality, and HIV/AIDS. There will be orientations about where the cooperation effort will be in the next 12 months and the next five years. Staff will be updated with the important work NPA is currently implementing in Quang Tri in partnership with Project RENEW and other stakeholders, the linkage of Project RENEW with NPA Vietnam as well as NPA’s global portfolio.
